Day of the Birthday Party – a combination of many party themes
Welcoming activity (about 10 minutes) while waiting for everyone to arrive. Second adult assists in this activity.

Set the theme: Party overview and introductions (optional 10-15 minutes)
Gather in family room, introduce myself and Aunt Susie, explain what we will do, show video about theme, also let children know where the bathroom is located.
Activities and games (allow 10 to 15 minutes per game; plan on 30 to 45 minutes total)
1. Musical chairs Materials needed: Chairs, music

Menu for meal or snack (allow 20 minutes) List foods to be served.
Wash hands
Party table in kitchen: Carrots & celery with dip, apples, macaroni and cheese, cake & cookies
Open gifts (allow 20 minutes) Have your camera ready.
Gather in family room: each child will take turns, find their gift and sit next to Pat while gift is opened
Activities (15-30 minutes ) An active game or finish projects.
