Why have extra adult help at a Children’s Birthday Party?

Have you ever had a time when children were visiting, it was time for the snack and no one was able to watch the children?  This can be a concern when children are coming for a birthday party without their parents.

That is why we recommend another adult to help with the children or help serving food.  It is best to have an extra pair of hands if there are 3-5 children and then if needed for a larger group, one adult per 5 children.  Extra adult eyes and hands will help with concerns about safety. You can give helping adults a job such as assisting with an activity or game, serving food, or even photographing the party fun.

When using careful and well thought out plans, it will be easy to share information quickly with another adult.

I couldn’t agree more! I once had 5 year olds trying to dance on a plastic picnic table! I learned the hard way.
