Public speaking skills and birthday parties

Public speaking is a social skill that may be developed at a birthday party.  Many of us have a fear of public speaking.  When your child has helped to plan the birthday party they will be familiar with the games and activities as well as the directions. Have your child assist in giving or let them give the directions for a few activities. Officially speaking in front of an informal group helps to develop confidence.

Public Speaking is an essential skill for children. What a great idea to encourage this skill in a positive and fun way.
