Libby and Penny’s Survival Guide is more than party themes, decorations and food ideas

#1 of 5 reasons behind our party suggestions.

#1 We suggest playing non eliminating games. It’s not because we don’t believe in competition. Non-eliminating games keep all the children actively involved in one area, no one is embarrassed or ‘out’.  The energy of multiple children interacting holds their focus and keeps them playing longer. As elimination games continue more children are not playing than playing. Fewer kids are actively releasing energy and the possibility of a child wandering off increases.

This really sounds like such a great book. I love the suggestions – especially those on non-elimination games. I had never thought of that before and you are 100% correct in saying it is better to have all of the children involved all the time.
