Family Birthday Party

Family Birthday Party

We had the privilege of helping a new mom plan her childs first birthday party.  It reminded me of  teaching days, once a teacher, always a teacher!  We answered questions, made a plan that would be easy to follow and then helped with ideas for foods to serve and how to set up the party to make it flow.  One of the best tips, was to make sure the guests would be able to effortlessly find the bathroom. Something so simple but not always considered.   We also  helped with open-ended activities for children that will be between the ages of 1 to 6 and a proposed time line that will work for everyone. We know that just the discussion will create a confident mom when it comes time to host that first birthday friends and family party.

What did you feel was the best advice you received when planning your child’s first party?
