Pinocchio is a fictional character in the 1883 children’s novel The Adventures of Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi, an Italian writer. Carved by a woodcarver named Geppetto, he was a wooden puppet but dreamed of becoming a real boy. He was prone to telling lies and fabricating stories.

We promise we did not tell any lies in Planning Children’s Birthday Parties Libby and Penny’s Survival Guide.

Do you know what Italian city claims to be Pinocchio’s hometown?
